I should have known this trip was a trap

when I saw a black cat

taking a nap on a rat’s back

while a blue cuckoo flew over my head

exploded - and turned all the walls blood red

the benevolent rodent

took off his hat

pulled a rabbit out of the bag

and gave an order to murder

so the cat took a knife and stabbed a rat

ripped out the rabbit’s leg

and tied it around his neck

all the time my mind was screaming: - Kill, kill, kill!

when I was dreaming with that sleeping pill

on the next morning

I felt myself still ill

so I took a cold shower

and saw something in a sewer

it was red, but not dead

oh dear, I think this story is not yet

over.
