with these hands that know no warmth

we suddenly saw

your light grew strong
Melting my castle
My soul felt
Something warm
Something that hurt
Like a wonderful knife
Stabbed in my heart
Was this love?

For a moment so short
It was bright
But then,
The twilight came
Your warm light fades
And now
You hold me
with that cynical smile
My heart stops
And aches
With the sound of eternal bells
