I remember the day
light covered all

when Heaven chose to fall

We drank wine, sung the tone
we stood and felt the rain
held our breath - no atone
only justice was to gain

or is it fair to learn

to cover all living things?

fair to see them fly
see all you wished to see
fly by, so brief and nigh
quarantee you never fly free

have my blood if that's your wish
tear my skin, it'll suit you well
devour all, just spare me one
for with you I rejoice in hell

So, I walk in darkness, I am told
can't hear nor see, this I feel
is more dear than glory or gold
my eyes will burn, my skin will peel

fair or so, I care not
