I grieve the love
I have no time to live, with demands
of life and lack of days, skill or will, the sunsets and
fragrance of garden after rain, shared tears of mirth
and of gut-wrenching pain, wading and falling in lake
or snow, as screaming and starkers back to sauna
we go, together with dearest sitting evening away
and eating and drinking, watching nature at play,
birds, rabbits, squirrels and fire ablaze, see
it smouldering down into a glowing haze
have safe arms around me and a head
on my chest, sleeping with the one
who likes me the best, to notice
and love these moments
that pass, as they are
gone in an instant
and they will
not come
