Split people in two with opinions

Cold stare from the sky
global warning hot
star eaters collapse

For once the fence
was higher than trees
I was unable to climb

So I came down
picking my bones
ditching broken ones

And now the stars
are coming down
all partly eaten up

Sing for the mothers
their lullabies because
no one ever leaves a note
but only for the newborn

Sleep 'til the dream comes alive
breathe in and out the sighs
deplete the oxygen when it's time
