life itself is the master

if it was a glimpse
into the future
if it was a glimpse
into what was left behind

the question arises
why and why, once again why
the fate is unpredictable
the life has its own turns
and you never can predict
what is there going to be 
is it sunshine, is it rain
cloudy sky or bright with shine

each day has the melody of its own
each week filled with sorrow or joy
that all must be taken with patience
'cause you never know what's
going to be, and that is why
the life keeps its interest
since no phase continues forever
no sorrow eats you till the end of time
no joy will carry you forever and ever

it is the life itself that matters
and it is the master and the king
it is you that has to change
your attitudes and beliefs
and to be flexible
in the various turns of the fate
to that learning it is never too late

in order to be able to keep on going
wiser and more content in all doing
till the end of your very own time
and you can say goodbye 
with a full heart and soul
I did my best, I bowed,
I held my head high
whatever was needed and meant to be
I accepted, even the happenings
unpredicted, so cruel, so mean to myself
I can now only be proud of my pure soul
that was taught me by the lessions of my lifetime
